Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CRAM ARCADE ("the app") at cramarcade.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

CRAM ARCADE is a free, ad-supported study tool designed to help users prepare for the NMLS SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator exam. The app provides practice questions, flashcards, study modes, progress tracking, and related features.

3. Not a Substitute for Licensed Education

CRAM ARCADE is a supplemental study tool. It is not a replacement for the required 20-hour NMLS pre-licensing education course. It does not grant continuing education credits, licensing, or certification of any kind. You are responsible for completing all required education and meeting all licensing requirements in your state.

4. No Guarantee of Exam Results

While CRAM ARCADE is designed to help you prepare for the NMLS SAFE exam, we make no guarantee that using the app will result in a passing score. Exam outcomes depend on many factors including your prior knowledge, study habits, and the specific content of your exam. Use this tool as one part of a comprehensive study plan.

5. Accuracy of Content

We make every effort to ensure that questions, explanations, and study material are accurate and aligned with current federal mortgage regulations and the NMLS SAFE MLO content outline. However, regulations change, and we cannot guarantee that all content is current at all times. If you find an error, please contact us so we can correct it.

6. Accounts and Data

Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You may use the app without an account — your progress will be saved locally in your browser.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

8. Intellectual Property

All content in CRAM ARCADE — including questions, explanations, flashcards, design, and code — is the property of CRAM ARCADE and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

9. Advertising

CRAM ARCADE is free and supported by third-party advertising provided by Google AdSense. By using the app, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed. We do not control the content of third-party ads. Ad content is governed by Google's advertising policies.

10. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Supabase (data storage), and Google AdSense (advertising). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

CRAM ARCADE is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRAM ARCADE and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to lost data, exam failure, or licensing delays.

13. Independence Disclaimer

CRAM ARCADE is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NMLS, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), Prometric, or any state or federal regulatory agency.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
